I have a will but not skills. Sorry about that. I really would love to help you in any way I could so if you have soemthing that a non-programmer can do, I am willing to help.

I have some limited time that I can dedicate to this, around 5-6 hours a week, at most.

Regards,
Marijan

Oh,
forgot to tell you about my skills. I was a system engineer working on different OS's and with different Management software for almost 12 years. I have experience with MS OS's, some Linux and Unix, Amiga OS and software such as Service Desk, Fault Mgmt Sw, IA Mgmt Sw, etc. I have a little scripting experience in Perl and VB. Back in 90's I was very active in ATO (Amiga Translators Organization). Last few years I was mainly working as an Senior Architect, designing Service Mgmt solutions, meaning I mostly wrote hundreds of pages of documentation with Visio diagrams ;-). I got bored with it and moved on.

If I can help you somehow, please feel free to contact me.

Dmitry, I salute you. Keep going on this. Fascinated to see how it pans out. Sadly I don't have any low level programming talent but if you need help with web programming let me know. A couple of things to think about: Might be worth contacting Aceeca at some point since they're still building Garnet devices. It oculd be your OS on those devices in the future. The French guys who wrote HB++ might be able to help you with some things since they write a full compiler for Palm OS. Also worth chatting to them as there could be a good parternship to be had. general at simb dot com dot au

Yep, I'm willing to help.

For instance, I noticed the harsh lack of online docs for the project ; I know it's a pain to post changelogs, so what about a nice wiki that would allow you to 1-Document the project (for devs & public) 1'-Post files (like the graphic widgets we're talking about) 2-get automatic stats on what & when 3-provide a nice back office for a *website* you know the online stuff with the "What the heck is DGOS" and the pretty graphics ? ;)

I worked as Hardware/Software/Low level Driver Designer,(O.K.... I think you got the right image...I almost worked for all the others people in the company), plus got into OLPC nightmare here in Uruguay (lost support, etc), got 4th year of Systems Engineering right but not the money to go on... I can do whatever you want to...Debugging, some programming, translating, graphics, you name it...i'll try to keep on pace with your work... Big Fan of yours in case you didn't noticed and with lots of time because right now, I'm in "between" jobs...
Excellent job so far...

Also worked 1998-2000 on the BestLinux project for Finland, Turkey, and Russian Federation, as a debugger and translator...

I don't have much programming experience, and the experience I do have is in Auto Hotkey and Basic for TI83+ graphing calculator. However, I have both a TX and a T|E2 that I am willing to test on. You seem to have both those devices too though, please contact me if you think there's anything I can do to help! Oh I can also translate into French. mitchellchief@gmail.com

Hi DG

If you are still going to develop the OS I have been coding PP apps. for 10+ years, so I am happy to help.

I notice I am a bit late as they comments are from Jan. 2010, so have you started yet ?

I had a bike accident (broke 12 ribs) so I have got way behind on my email etc.

TIA
