Demo Time?

Perhaps it's time for a small demo? Perhaps a video of the boot process on an LD or a TX? Or maybe a small demo of a simple doodling app. While hardly impressive by itself, both of these build on an entirely new OS, which makes them impressive.

Or perhaps wait till the UI lib is finished, and a new semi-transparent UI can be demoed as well?

Or perhaps both?

What do you think. Comment to reply.

[currently LD is the most supported device, with TX close behind given that it is so similar. T|E2 was tested a few times and worked reasonably well, to some extent, but lately it doesn't. I think my new scheduler code is to blame. I'll look inot it later.]

I think any kind of demo video would be really useful to see.

A demo would look very cool if it showed some real multi-tasking, even if only with some output in "text mode" or something.

I suppose your kernel handles that already, and it would be a novelty on a Palm OS device.

At least a video pls pls pls....would be great...

not a bad idea to put a video shown by Lomen for the time you finish?

Any kind of video will be welcomed!. But I´d really like to see the new-super-improved UI :D

The evolution of DGOS continues to be enjoyable to account for here.
A video of the boot process/demo app would be a real treat!

Dmitry,

My mouth is watering to see what you've come up with! The last number of updates sound AWESOME!

I can't believe that PalmOS and DGOS can run together on my one LifeDrive!

I can't wait to see what you've done, but the stuff you have yet to come... transparency?... wow!

I would like to have a demo now, if possible. And then see a demo of the new stuff when you're ready.

Amazing job so far!

A demo would be great, but a demo of a new operating system on even an discountinued device can attract attention maybe even a cease and desist from said company.

I would say demo it now and later.
as much as the hype would be if you held it back, you would provide a better idea to us about what we can expect in our Palm's future software development.

Yeah, still keeping my old LD just for DGOS!!! So a demo would be most welcome!

A Demo would be a great Holiday treat and would serve well as a coming attraction "teaser".

I agree to both options ;)

A first demo now and a second one when the UI is finished
