Sorry for the delays
I will now dedicate a lot more time to DGOS. I also welcome any and all developers who would like to help with this effort. If you would like to help, please email me at dmitrygr@gmail.com

oh nice - I'd just put my TX on Gumtree, but developments here may make me keep it.......
What kinds of things could other developers do to help, I mean, which specific parts of the system would you like to be helped with?
i've been eagerly awaiting your work. thank you in advance! my coding is rusty, but i am willing to do any testing you need.
YAY! I'm giddy with excitement, I can't wait. On a side note, Dimitry, what happened to palmpowerups? Did Palm finally try to sue you?
well, can i start the countdown?
Does DGOS still make sense? Perhaps porting Android to Palm makes better sense? You seem like the man for the job. Then you can leverage all the other developers on Android to fix bugs rather than being the solo guy on a big project. Just a thought....

@MattW
and a good one
Because Linux on mobile devices is of no interest to me since Linux never was, is not, and never will be a good mobile OS, due to its lack of a good power management subsystem and a goal set completely orthogonal to that of a good mobile system.
Dmitry is totally right on the fact the power management is a very important fact on PDA's OS's design. I do beleive PalmOS was well designed on that regard, from the begining all scheme for applications sleep, doze, and running modes was implemented on a clever way.
Dmitry I'm also a C#/C++ developer for desktop platforms for several years.. I'm giving my firsts steps on PalmOS development. I also would like to know what tasks you feel we can provide any help with.
I could help you on the test, compiling and error finding if you think that is the way to go.
I'd be more than happy to help in ANY way possible.
Thanks.
