Hey I deconverged and bought an N800 and a junk phone and then converged again and bought an iphone. Both are just not quite the value I have for my sturdy TX. Keep on my friend! This effort is worthy and not just a dead end legacy exercise like MER was.
^^^ No doubt about that. The thing I think least appealing to me about the new smartphones (like iphone), besides the expensive plans and proprietary feel, it's just the lack of creativity and customizeability. My TX is one hacked up, incredibly tweaked and personalized tool. The thing is an extension of me. I just don't feel that with the new phones.
